Since 2002, we have organized over 50 river cleanups. Our cleanups happen twice per year, once in April and once on BC Rivers Day which is the 4th Sunday in September.

As of 2025 over 7,000 volunteers have participated and each clean-up is four hours long, resulting in around 28,000 hours of volunteer work!

Currently there are 25 groups involved in the Adopt-a-River program.

Since 2002, 147.15 metric tonnes of garbage have been removed from the Chilliwack Vedder River riparian areas.
